“Straining to See: Strain Imaging and Why We Still Care” Recap and On-Demand Access for Members

We kicked off the New Year with the Winter Conference event! 

First off, we want to thank Phillips for sponsoring the event and for their support.

Dr. Garcia-Sayan, President of GHSEV, started the evening with introductions and updates.

President will remain Dr. Enrique Garcia-Sayan; Vice-President is Dr. Peter Ermis, Secretary is Leticia Vasquez, and Treasurer is Jessica Murphy. The Directors-at-Large are Lynette Gascoigne, Drs. Basant Arya, Tam Doan, Ihab Hamzeh, and Deepa Raghunathan.

We then heard from Dr. Charles Bulathsinghala from Baylor College of Medicine, who discussed the current and future practice of assessing left ventricular strain. There are plenty of uses but also challenges for this evaluation!
