Hello GHSEV!
We would like to thank Dr. Sherif Nagueh, Professor of Cardiology from Houston Methodist and Chair of the ASE ImageGuide Echo Registry Committee, and Katherine Gibson RDCS, Director of Echocardiography Accreditation of the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission, for their outstanding lectures yesterday during our fall educational meeting.

After introductions from our President Dr. Garcia-Sayan, and Past-President Dr. Stainback, the educational program began with Dr. Nagueh’s Update on ImageGuide Echo Registry, a powerful tool that can benefit patient care, quality improvement, accreditation, and reimbursement for echocardiography labs. This was followed by Ms. Gibson’s presentation of the IAC Standards and Guidelines 2021 Update, including a discussion of recent changes in this document, and excellent tips for successful lab accreditation.
