Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Baylor College of Medicine
Dr. Joseph Coselli specializes in the clinical evaluation and surgical treatment of diseases of the aorta. He is an innovator and a leader in the field of complex aortic repairs especially involving connective tissue disorders, as well as complex aortic dissections. He has served as President of the American Association of Thoracic Surgery, and has received a multitude of awards, including the 2017 Ray C Fish Award for Scientific Achievement, the 2017 Michael E. Debakey Award for Excellence in Research, and the 2017 Hero with A Heart Award from The Marfan Foundation.
